Hi there! I’m Linn, a twenty-year-old living in the north of the Netherlands. Up in the North, in the beautiful city of Groningen, I study history at the University of Groningen. In my daily life, I try to find a balance between studying, working, and having a normal social life. I recently started blogging which frightens, because it’s freaking scary. I enjoy a good debate, listening to music, cooking, working on my series addiction, and going to the farmers market on Tuesday morning with my friends. Oh, I also love watermelon, bulgogi, and coffee.
In the Summer of 2017, I’ll exchange my beloved Groningen for a three-week stay in Washington D.C.. I’ll spend three weeks in the political centre of the United States, hoping to improve my English language skills by doing a language course with EF Education First. During these weeks, I’ll get the chance to experience life on a campus, sharing a dorm with people from all over the world.
With this blog, I’d like to take you on my journey to D.C., give my honest opinion, try not to be too sarcastic at times, and share my experiences.
